War of the Worlds: Heaven and the Hellweed
Horus W. Odenthal is a German novelist and comic artist, who signs most of his comics work with only his first name. He grew up in the West-German town of Kirchherten and studied art in Aachen. He went to work as a comic artist, and published his work in Germany and the USA. He made the comic book series 'Brennan Moore' for Splitter in 1990, and he worked with Rainer Laws on 'Black Moon' and 'The New Machine of Liechtenstein', the latter as a companion to the eponymous album by Holy Moses.
His US work includes several series for Caliber Comics in the second part of the 1990s, such as 'Autumn' with Chris Dows and Colin Clayton, 'War of the Worlds: Heaven and the Hellweed' with Randy Zimmermann, and contributions to the 'New Worlds' anthologies. He eventually left the field of comics, and turned to writing. He released his debut novel 'Ninragon' in three parts as an eBook in 2012.
