Fernando Iglesias was born in Vilagarcía de Arousa in 1967. He is one of the most emblematic comic artists from Galicia, and has published his work in publications like Frente Comixairo, Nuevas Viñetas, Injuve and Zona 84. He has worked with writer Carlos Portella on comics projects like 'Gorka' (in Laberinto), 'Kami Seeds' and 'Impresiones de la Isla' (in Diario de Pontevedra).
Fernando Iglesias has also contributed to newspaper El Correo Gallego and has illustrated several books for publisher Xerais. For Compostelán, he has made the comic 'O Laberinto da Pedra' and he has also contributed to Elipse, Nosotros Somos los Muertos and Somos Diferentes Somos Iguales, mostly in cooperation with Portela. For the Diario de Pontevedra, he makes the weekly 'El Cine de Papel' page.
