Hans Jaladara was born in 1947 in Yogyakarta, and started creating comics in 1966. In that year, his first comic appeared, called 'Hanya Kemarin'. His best known work is the action hero comic 'Panji Tengkorak'. The first version of the comic appeared in 1968, the second in 1985 and the third in 1996. It has been adapted to film in 1972 and 1985, and into a TV series in 1996.
Hans Jaladara was an influence on Djair Warni.
