Jul is an illustrator for the press, who works mainly for Charlie Hebdo as an artist/reporter. In 2005, his first comic book was published by Albin Michel, called 'Il Faut Tuer José Bové'. His work also appears in L'Écho des Savanes.
He additionally made a graphic contribution to the anti-racism collective comic book 'Rire Contre Le Racisme' (Jungle!, 2006).
