Florian Julino was a longtime artist for the Kauka Verlag. He illustrated various 'Fix und Foxi' stories in the periods 1961-1968 and 1972-1983. He was the artist of various covers for the Kauka publications, as well as the creator of the 'Diabolino' gag page. He was also a productive artist for the 1980s Lupo cartoons 'Szenen am Kiosk' and 'Orhrenschmaus', and for the company's advertising comics.
Julino has also lived in Canada, where he worked in the television field. In addition to his work for Kauka, he made numerous caricatures for German newspapers. In 2003, he returned to 'Fix und Foxi', when he illustrated 'Fix und Foxi und der Raketenblitz', a comic special about the Raketenblitz ride at the Fix und Foxi theme park at the Ravensburger Spieleland.
