Flash Gordon, by Jim Keefe

Jim Keefe is a comic artist best known for his work with King Features Syndicate. Disappointed in the art courses he took in his hometown Minnesota, Keefe went to the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover. After his graduation in 1989, he got a job as a head colorist of features like 'Blondie', 'Beetle Bailey' and 'Hägar the Horrible' at King Features. He additionally contributed artwork, such as ghosting the 'Secret Agent Corrigan' comic. Between 1996 and 2003, Keefe was the artist of the 'Flash Gordon' Sunday comic, that was originally created by Alex Raymond. His work on the comic is still syndicated.
