'Santa in Wonderland' - Santa Claus Funnies #2, 1943. 

George F. Kerr was an American illustrator and comic book artist. He was an artist for American Weekly for 30 years, and illustrated many juvenile books from 1906 onwards. As a syndicated artist, he illustrated various classic stories for daily publication through King Features Syndicate in the 1920s. He was on the staff of the New York Journal in the 1940s and drew the cartoons for the editorials by Arthur Brisbane.

In the 1940s, he was present in comic books produced by Dell Publishing. He drew (funny animal) cartoons as well as comic stories with 'Andy Panda' (based on Walter Lantz's character), 'Elmer Fudd' (based on Tex Avery's character), 'Raggedy Ann and Andy' (based on Johnny Gruelle's duo) and 'Raggedy Animals'. Most notable are his stories with Santa Claus for titles like Santa Claus Funnies.
