While following technical studies, Afif Khaled followed evening courses at the School of Fine Arts in Belfort. He moved to Angoulême in France in 2000, where he got his degree in plastic arts. He then went to work in Bordeaux as a graphic artist and illustrator. He made the comic 'Jour de Zapping' together with scriptwriter Andrevon in the KOG periodical. He continued his collaboration with Andrevon on the series 'Le Travail du Furet' (Delcourt) and 'Les Chroniques du Centrum' (Soleil). In addition, he does cover illustrations for the publishing house Imaginaires Sans Frontières.
