Everett Raymond Kinstler worked primarily for Stan Lee's Atlas line in the 1950s. There, he drew several western, war and mystery stories. He stood out for his work with drybrush techniques and his use of lines in his stories. He drew adventure and western strips for Dell Publishing from 1953 to 1961, like 'Zorro', 'Swamp Fox', 'Western Marshall' and 'Silvertip'. Among his other credits are 'Kit Carson', 'Hawkman' and 'The Shadow'. He is mostly known however for his portraits of famous personalities, among which five American presidents.
