Alex Crampon (or simply, Kramp) joined the comics atelier in Angoulême. Afterwards, he worked as a webdesigner for a website of the city Faches Thumesnil. In 2000, he assisted Jérôme Félix and Florent Heitz on the coloring of 'Le Fleuve Mauve'. He also drew his first comics for Bidouilleur Déchaîné. In 2002, Kramp began the 'Uchronia' series together with writer Jérôme Félix.
