Kapitán Blood (Zápisník, 1970)
Gustav Krum was a Czech painter, illustrator and comic book artist. Born in Jihlava, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1949 to 1954. He illustrated over a 100 books, varying from ancient themes and adventure stories to Czech history and archaeological books.
Král Madagaskaru (Pionýrská stezka, 1975)
He has especially illustrated a great many Karl May books, and published his comics in magazines like Magazín Kometa, Velká kniha komiksů, Květy, Pionýrská stezka and Zápisník during the 1960s and 1970s. Among his comic stories are adaptations of 'Winnetou' (1964-1966), 'Tarzan' (1968-1969), 'The Charterhouse of Parma' (1970) and 'Captain Blood' (1970), as well as the historical comic story 'The King of Madagascar' (1975-1977).
