Helge Kühn-Nielsen was a Danish illustrator and painter. He made energetic and experimental drawings for the magazines Politikens Magasinet and Land og Folk, and worked for books and TV series. For the Danish issues of the Classics Illustrated series (Illustrerede Klassikere), he made the adaptations of 'Skælmen fra Bukhara' (1950-51) by Soviet author Leonid Solovjof, Charles De Coster's 'Till Uglspil og Lamme Goedzak' (1952-53) and the epic 'Rolf Krakes og hans kæmpers saga' (1962). He was a teacher with Danmarks Designskole (School of Applied Arts) between 1943 and 1988.
