Ilias Kyriazis was born in 1978. He studied interior design and has worked for 2 years as an animator and storyboarder in the advertising field. He won the first prize in the first comics contest organized by "9" magazine. Since then he is a frequent collaborator of "9". He is well-known in Greece for his albums 'Manifesto' and 'Blood Opera'. He was co-founder of the Subart Comics team and collaborator of the magazine with the same name. Along with fellow "Subartists" he published the 'GIN747' and 'Tourta' comics. He has taken part in various contests and exhibitions (winning among others the prize for "best script" in the comics contest of Belgrade).
