Jacques Lamontagne is an artist from Quebec. He began his career in the Canadian comic magazines Délire and Safarire. The macabre horror stories he drew for these magazines were collected in the book 'Les Contes d'Outre-tombe in 2009. Through the Internet, he got in touch witht the French publisher Soleil, who offered him the opportunity to draw the heroic fantasy series 'Les Druides' from scripts by Jean-Luc Istin and Thierry Jigourel in 2005. As a scriptwriter, he works with the artist Ma Yi on 'Yuna', a series about Celtic legends from 2009. In 2010 he began a collaboration with scriptwriter Thierry Gloris to create 'Aspic, Détectives de l'Étrange' for the publishing house Quadrants.
