'Digitaline'.
Jacques Landrain was an comic artist and colorist from Brussels. He has worked in the fields of comics, illustration and graphic arts. His first comic book was the historical 'Miguel de Alhama' with scriptwriter Alain Masson for Bedescope in 1984. Together with Bob de Groot, he was responsible for 'Digitaline', the first European comic story created entirely with the computer, in 1989. He later also worked with De Groot on 'OOOPSS', a mascot for a petition designed to persuade Belgian politicians to form a government. He passed away from leukemia in 2009, at the age of 56.
