Sandra Beatriz Lavandeira did several artistic studies and is professionally active as a children's book illustrator. She did a comic book with adaptations of the work of Oscar Wilde ('El fantasma de Canterville y otros cuentos de Oscar Wilde') and contributed to a collective book about Vincent van Gogh. She has done illustrations for publishing houses like Libros del Quirquincho, Editorial Puerto de Palos and Editorial Alfaguara Infantil. Comics by Lavandeira have appeared in El Tripero, Strapazin, and Ser Docente. She has taken part in several exhibitions with the El Tripero collective.
