Transformers, by Pat Lee

Pat Lee was the founder and head of Dreamwave Productions, a comics studio that originally published under the Image umbrella. Lee started his career in Toronto, illustrating, pencilling and inking 'Target'. Afterwards, he joined the Extreme Studios of the American company Image Central, where he illustrated 'Prophet', 'Extreme Sacrifice', 'Extreme Prelude', 'Black Flag', 'Glory/Celestine' and 'Bloodpool'. He has also worked for Jim Lee's Wildstorm studios.

In 1998, Pat and his brother Roger Lee launched Dreamwave Productions, for which he illustrated several successful titles, such as 'Darkminds', 'Neon Cyber' and 'Warlands'. Dreamwave became an independent publisher in 2001, and in 2002 Lee and his team relaunched the 'Transformers' comic, based on the famous cartoon series from the 1980s. In addition to Dreamwave, Lee has worked for DC and Marvel, among others on 'Marvel Knights Spider-Man'. Dreamwave Productions closed its doors in 2005.
