Edward G. Letkeman was an artist for Canadian comic books in the 1940s. He drew for most of the publishers, including Maple Leaf, Bell and F. E. Howard. He was present at Superior Publishers with innovative comic books like Space Nomad Comics and Zor the Mighty Comics, creating features like 'Zor', 'Dr. Justice' and 'Sir Guy' (1946). These works also found their way to the USA (through Harry A. Chesler) and the UK (as Jungle Comics and Jungle Adventures). During the 1940s, Letkeman was also the artist on the 'Canuck Kid' newspaper strip.
