Scott Lincoln studied at Hartford Art School and had his first comic strip published in a paper called the Winsted Phoenix at the age of 15. It was called 'Kabloona' and later continued for a short while in The Winsted Courier. Lincoln didn't do much cartooning in the second half of the 1980s and the early 1990s until he started submitting new materical to syndicates. He got his break when in 2001, he became the assistant of comic artist Guy Gilchrist on the 'Nancy' comic.
