Pedro "Pete" Llanuza was a sports cartoonist for the New York World Telegram, which was part of Joseph Pulitzer's New York World. He drew the 'Jack Ofalltrades' strip in 1913. He took over the 'Joe Jinks' comic strip from its creator Vic Forsythe in 1931, and continued it until 1936. He also did art for the 'Knight and Daye' comic book.
