Isabel Lobinho is probably the most prominent Portuguese female representative of the new generation of comic artists who debuted after the Carnation Revolution (1974). Her work appeared in the periodical Visão and contained mostly comic adaptations of the work of writer Mário-Henrique Leira. Some of these adaptations were published in the album 'Mario e Isabel'. Her pop art-inspired work contains a breath of eroticism and sensuality, without ever becoming vulgar.
'Por Entre Os Dedos' (Visao, 14 May 1975).
