Loki
Born in Châteauroux in 1985, Benjamin Loirat studied to become a building painter for three years, before turning to comics. He headed for Nantes to study at the École Pivaut, where he met Jean-Paul Bordier, Benoit Dellac and Pierre-Denis Goux, young artists who have all had the opportunity to work for Jean-Luc Istin at Soleil at one point. Loriat has teamed up with writer Dobbs for the creation the heroic fantasy series 'Loki', that is published on Soleil's Celtic label from 2012. Loirat also works as a layout man at Ankama, a design company that works mainly on online role-playing games.
