Marzio Lucchesi is an Italian comic artist and animator. He studied at the Scuola del Libro in Urbino. He contributed comic strips to the Tigrotto comic book in the 1970s. For Pony Express, he created 'Alvaro' in 1974. Two years later came the character 'Tenius'. He is the author of the comic series 'Mostralfonso' with Romano Garolfalo for Dardo (1979), and the series also appeared on television in 1987. In addition, Lucchesi has made comics about the history of Parma ('Parma Città d'Oro', 1979) and Mantova, and he has written the scripts for 'Il Circo' by Riuniti (1974). In the 1980s he began a collaboration with Il Corriere dei Piccoli.
