Trisse och Trisselina

Lucie Lundberg was a Swedish children's book illustrator, best-known for her illustrations for the first 'Pelle Svanslös' books. She was born into a German family in Riga, and got her artistic training in Berlin after World War I. She settled in Stockholm after her marriage in 1936. She became the regular illustrator for the children's books by Gösta Knutsson. Besides 'Pelle Svanslös', she also illustrated for book series like 'Kvirre och Hoppsan', 'Skratt-Maja' and the 'Elvira Nyckelpiga' picture stories. Between 1942 and 1946 she drew the comic series 'Trisse och Trisselina' in Folksolans Barntidning.

In 1993 asteroids were named after Pelle Svanslös, Måns, Bill & Bull, Laban and Gammelmaja, all characters from Gösta Knutsson's novels.
