'Les Choses Drôles de la Vie'.
Mac Arthur was the author of the comic strip 'Les Choses Drôles de la Vie' ('The Funny Things In Life'), that ran in the Québec City newspaper Le Soleil in 1943. The origin is most likely American, since one of the strips advertizes U.S. war bonds, and one of the characters is called 'Ms. Hazard'. The abbreviation for the syndicate is NWNS.
