Born in Rome, Patrizia Mandanici moved to Rome at age 9. She studied at the artistic grammar school and the Academy of Fine Arts. While studying, she worked as an illustrator for the magazine Avvenimenti. She moved to Milan in 1991, where he began a collaboration with Marcello Toninelli. She inked some episodes of 'Dark' and cooperated on 'Van der Groot - Agenzia Scacciamostri' in Il Giornalino. At Grenata Press, she cooperated on 'Kaos'. She then illustrated three episodes of 'Bilitteri' of De Nardo in Intrepido, as well as some episodes of 'Jordi Eroe Galattico' of Giorgio Pellizzari. In 1995, Mananici drew 'Ossian' at Star Comics with scripts by Martino Barbieri. She joined Bonelli the same year, and became an illustrator of the series 'Legs Weaver' and 'Gregory Hunter'.
