Steve Damon (Il Giornalino, 19 December 1971)
Silvano Marinelli was an Italian painter and comic book artist, who worked regularly for magazine Il Giornalino of San Paolo Edizioni in the 1970s. Marinelli co-created 'Steve Damon', a serial set in Africa, with writer Claudio Nizzi. This comic was also published in France under the title 'Jeff Richard' in Mon Journal publications like Coup Dur and Marco Polo. He helped Giancarlo Alessandrini with the start of his career in 1972, and was additionally the artist of independent stories for Il Giornalino, such as 'Il raggazzo e il delfino' with Mario Basari (1973) and 'Un aiutante per Mike Renda' with Giancarlo Berardi (1977).
