'Zio Paperone' ('Uncle Scrooge'). Dutch-language version.
Born in Tarquinia, Roberto Marini studied at the Art Institute of Civitavecchia for five years. He worked as a technical draftsman in a glass-works factory, before he joined the editorial staff of Topolino. Besides doing covers and finishing other artists' work, Marini drew stories of his own from 1982. At first under the guidance of Marco Rota, Marini eventually found his own, more personal style. He has mainly illustrated 'Duck' stories, but also 'The Seven Dwarfs' and 'Indiana Pipps'.
