Martínmorales was an Andalucian cartoonist and occasional comic artist. He began his career in the 1960s, drawing for the Granada newspaper Ideal, as well as El Alcázar, Nuevo Diario, El Faro and Mundo de Barcelona. In the 1970s he was present in humour magazines like Tiempo, Mata Ratos, El Jueves, El DDT and Can Can. He created serials like 'Polícleto' and 'Casimiro, el Caco' in Chío and 'La Moncloaca' in El Jueves. He was the regular cartoonist for newspaper ABC since 1994 and a contributor to the magazine El Virus Mutante since 2004. In his final years, he published in Inverviú and La Clave de la Opinión Pública. He died in 2022 at age 76.
