Fascinated by heroic-fantasy, Jean-Luc Masbou began his career in illustration. He soon turned to comics, and his first pages appeared in Les Enfants du Nil. An allround author, he couldn't succeed in finding a publisher, so he turned to animation. He continued his comics activities after teaming up with Alain Ayroles. Together, they started the series 'De Capes et de Crocs'. This series is situated in the Contes et Racontars universe, a world they created for a role playing game. Jean-Luc Masbou has written by the scenario of 'L'Ombre de l'Echafaud' for Cerqueira in 2001.
