Franco Mattichio is a painter, comic artist and illustrator from Varese. He published his first works in Corriere della Sera in 1979. He has subsequently worked for Linus, King, Moda, Salva and Linea d'Ombra. In 1994, Edizioni Milano published his award winning book 'Sensa Senso', a collection of his work for Linus. Mattichhio is a regular contributor to L'Indice, L'Internazionale and Vivimilano. He is a cover artist for the pulishing house Garzanti.
