Dorit Maya-Gur is an Israeli comic book artist and illustrator. She holds a degree in education and design, and is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of graphic art. She also works with the Israeli museum of caricature and comics where she gives lectures on the history of caricature and comics. She is the creator of the Jewish superhero series 'Falafelman'. Gur also does artwork for Nike Isreal, high tech companies, newspapers and commercial companies.
