Comic for Heavy Metal.
Brian Allen McCall was, for a period of five years, a professional baseball player with the Chicago White Sox organization, including a brief stint in the majors in 1962. An injury ended his sports career in 1962, and McCall made the transition to commercial artist. He had a comic story called 'Is There No Justice in the Universe?' in the August 1983 issue of Heavy Metal magazine. McCall lives in a converted church in Greensburg, PA, and works on personal illustration work and commercial projects, which include building sculptures and 3-D signs for restaurants and storefronts.
