Cap'n Codd, by Malcolm McGookin

Malcolm McGookin was born in Kilwinning, Scotland, and began his cartoon career as a teenager working for local papers in Scotland. His first national feature was 'Well I Never' for London's Titbits Magazine in the late 70s. Malcolm temporarily gave up cartooning to become an animator and scriptwriter on TV series such as Dangermouse, Count Duckula and Avenger Penguins but soon returned to drawing comics with his long-running strip 'Blacknose The Pirate', which was later renamed to 'Cap'n Codd'. He emigrated to Australia in 1995, and presently freelances with magazine clients all over the world.
