'Suburban Glamour'.
Jamie McKelvie was born in 1980 in Malvern, Worcestershire. He has cooperated with journalist Kieron Gillen on 'Save Point', a comic strip for the official Playstation Magazine UK. McKelvie is best known his mini series on Britpop, called 'Phonogram' (2003), also made with Gillen for Image Comics. Again for Image, he produced the graphic novel 'Long Hot Summer' for Eric Stephenson.

McKelvie has worked with colorist Guy Major and Matthew Wilson on the creator-owned serial 'Suburban Glamour', also for Image Comics. He has contributed cover illustrations to 'Hack/Slash' and a story to the anthology 'X-Men: Divided We Stand'. In 2008, McKelvie and Gillen launched a follow-up to their 'Phonogram' project, called 'Phonogram 2: The Singles Club'.
