Jim McLaughlin was an American comic book artist, mainly active in the 1950s. He was born in 1909 in Louisville, Kentucky. He produced most of his art for Ace Periodicals, and was part of the company's staff. McLaughlin illustrated many horror, romance and western stories. He was present in Dell's Gunsmoke (1957-58), Marvel's Strange Tales and in St. John's Strange Terrors. He died in 1982 in Arlington, Virginia.
