Jon McNaught is a comic artist and printmaker from Bristol. He graduated from the University of the West of England, the UWE. He now works at the same university as a printmaking instructor. He printed the first few copies of his first book, the graphic novella 'Birchfield Close', himself. Fortunately, publisher Nobrow discovered its existence, and released it in 2010. McNaught also published his next two books with this publishing house, both from 2012.

The first, 'Pebble Island', was a collection of wordless comics inspired by memories from his childhood in the Falklands. The second, 'Dockwood', was a story about the eveyday lives of three locals in a small town in the Southeast of England. McNaught has furthermore produced comic strips for Nobrow, Art Review, and Stripburger, among others.
