'De Buismuizen'.
Ton Meijer is an actor, writer and former cartoonist and teacher from Groningen. He is the author of 'De Buismuizen', a comic book full of social criticism, published by the Kreatie F foundation in Groningen in 1971. In 1982, Meijer made another comic book, called 'De Ratelaar', for the C. Regenboog foundation.
Meijer was part of the regional cabaret group Martin, Ton & Bommerson with Martin van Dijk and Jan Bommerson, with whom he wrote and performed two shows, 'We Zitten Toch Op Rozen' (1979) and 'Zonen' (1981). He has also written short stories, and is a writer and performer with theater group De Catalanen in Groningen.
