Meimu was educated at the Osaka University of Arts. He is the author of manga serials like 'Gasaraki' and 'Kikaider', as well as the artist of the manga versions of Koji Suzuki's successful horror movies 'The Ring 2' (including the parallel series 'Birthday') and 'Dark Water'.
