Vic Flint by Dean Miller

Dean Miller was the second artist of the NEA-syndicated comic strip about private eye 'Vic Flint'. He succeeded the comic's originator Ralph Lane on both dailies and Sundays in July 1950, and made the strip from scripts by writer Michael O'Malley (pen name for Ernest Lynne) until January 1962, when Art Sansom took over. The 'Vic Flint' comic was also reprinted in the Canadian comic books published by St. John Publications. Miller also worked with George Merkle on a Sunday feature called 'Mighty O'Malley' for the Chricago Tribune-NY News Syndicate between 1947 and 1949. Dean Miller passed away in 1977 at the age of 52.
