Philippe Becquelin was a Swiss cartoonist who worked under the pseudonym Mix & Remix. Born in Saint-Maurice in the Valais area, Becquelin studied Fine Arts in Lausanne, before beginning his career in 1984. He produced many posters and flyers for the club La Dolce Vita in Lausanne. Graduated from painting from the Cantonal Art School of Lausanne, his pseudonym originated in the joint signature he had with his wife for their paintings.

He satirically covered current affairs for the weekly L'Hebdo from 1992 to 1998, which resulted in the book 'Histoires mécanique'. He continued to work for L'Hebdo, while also contributing to the magazines Siné Hebdo (2008-2010), Le Matin Dimanche (from 2013), Le Courrier international, Lire, L'Express, Spirou and L'Internazional (from Italy). Mix & Remix has furthermore contributed to the Swiss TV program 'Infrarouge'. Several collections of his work have been published by Ringier, Glénat and Buchet/Castel.
