Megumi Mizusawa is a shoujo mangaka, and one of the regular artists for the girls' magazine Ribon. She has been writing and drawing manga since 1979, debuting in Ribon with 'Kokoro ni Sotto Sasayaite'. After several stories throughout the 1980s, like 'Sora Iro no Melody', she created her most famous manga, 'Hime-chan no Ribon' in the 1990s. This serial was also adapted into anime. She continues to do short stories for Ribon Original, Ribon Bikkuri and Cookie Box. Other creations by Mizusawa are one shots like 'Kyarameru Daiarii' ('Caramel Diary') and 'Oshaberi na Jikan Wari' ('A Chatty Timetable'), as well as the series 'Chime' and 'Naisho no Princess' ('The Secret Princess').
