Rocketman, by Chris Moeller

Christopher Moeller was a student of fine arts at Syracuse University in New York. After graduating with a master's degree, Moeller moved to Pittsburgh were he started working for the comic book publisher Innovation. Chris Moeller wrote and painted four issues of 'Rocketman: King of the Rocketmen' for this publisher, followed by several issues of 'Interview with the Vampire', a comic version of Ann Rice's novel. From there, Chris utilized his interest in military history to launch a military science fiction epic with Dark Horse Comics, the 'Iron Empires'. Starting with the graphic novel 'Faith Conquers', Moeller then drew short installments for Dark Horse Presents.

'Iron Empires' was then moved to DC's Helix imprint, that published the graphic novel 'Sheva's War'. His comic book cover artwork includes DC's 'Batman - The Shadow of the Bat' and the Vertigo title 'Lucifer'. Additional graphic novels include 'JLA: A League of One' (2000) and 'JLA Classified: Cold Steel' (2005). Moeller has also done artwork for posters, magazines, paperback and hardcover books, game illustrations, trading cards, advertising and design work.
