Pat Mombili was born in Kinshasa, Congo in 1972. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Kinshasa and taught himself how to draw comics. He co-founded the comic artists association Bulles et Plumes, and his work appeared in several publications, such as Africanissimo, Bleu-Blanc, Seringue and newspaper Le Palmarès. He has contributed to the anthologies 'Un dîner à Kinshasa' and 'A L'Ombre du Baobab', a collection of comics by African artists about education and health in Africa, for which he created the story 'Les Enfants des Rues'. He is the author of the series 'Zebola', which is published in Africanissimo.
