Ángel Mora is the artist of the adventurer 'Chanoc'. The series was created by Dr. Angel Martín de Lucenay in 1959, and later written by Pedro Zapiain. 'Chanoc' has been adapted into several movies, starting with 'Chanoc' in 1968.

Mora has also illustrated 'La Mascara Roja', published by La Prensa, and 'Arriba', in the collection 'Mexico, Historia de un Pueblo' with Armando Bartra.

Under the pseudonym Garmaléon, he additionally worked for the publishing house Mango on violent and erotich pulp comics. Among the collections he drew for are 'Almas Perversas' and 'Amores y Amantes'.
