Martin Mystère, by Paolo Morales

Paolo Morales began his career drawing comics for the German market at the Giolitti Studios. He worked for the publishing house Eura Editoriale from 1981 to 1990, where he created comics for Lanciostory. After having cooperated on magazines like Torpedo and Nero, Morales drew his first comic as an allround author in Intrepido. In the same magazine, he created the character 'René'. He joined the publishing house Bonelli, where he became a writer and artist of the series 'Martin Mystère', cooperating on the artwork with Fabio Grimaldi.

Paolo Morales was also active in cinema and television. He cooperated as a storyboard artist on among others Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Godfather III'. Paolo Morales died in Rome on 16 January 2013.
