Hideki Mori is the author of various manga serials from the mid-1980s. Starting with 'Time Time', 'Baku!' and 'Kids', he drew his first long serial between 1987 and 1992, called 'Aozora Shotte'. After 24 issues, he began working of 'Stratège' and then 'Mukade Senki', 'Umizuru' and 'Tsuru, Princess of the Seas'. He began working on '...Tengu' in 2001. He was also assigned to take over 'Lone Wolf & Cub' from Goseki Kojima. Mori's very personal style is characterized by its expressive realism and a hightened sense of detail.
