François Mougne is educated in graphics, illustration and design. He did several varying advertising jobs starting in 1991. He became an illustrator for Les Complices in 1996 and three years later at La Financière Fauvernier. He began the comic series 'Darkan' along with scenarist Isabelle Plongeon in 2000.
