Leland Myrick, a self-taught writer and artist, lives and works in Pasadena, California. His first series, 'Sweet', earned him Ignatz and Harvey Award nominations. Leland followed up 'Sweet' with the three-issue series 'School Girls', on which he collaborated with Mark Dos Santos. Later on, he published 'Bright Elegy' and 'Missouri Boy'. He also contributed to Dark Horse Comics, GQ Japan, Vogue Russia, and First Second Books.
