Gidi Gezer

Elisheva Nadal created several comics for children's magazine Haaretz Shelanu in the 1950s and the early 1960s. Her most significant comic was 'Gidi Gezer', about a teenager that got superpowers by eating carrots. It was written by Yaacov Ashman who let the character battle the British and the Arabs during the Israeli War of Independence in 1948 and the Eqyptian army during the 1956 war.
